Today I’m sharing a crunchy and quick snack, Cucumber Boats with Easy Greek Yogurt Dip Recipe. I’m not quite sure if these greek-inspired Cucumber Boats could make it across the Mediterranean Sea, but they sure are the tastiest boats I have ever enjoyed.
One of the great things about this snack recipe is that all the ingredients can be kept stocked in your fridge so you’re ready to go if a crowd of hungry teens happens to drop by, or if a last-minute occasion pops up and you’re in need of an appetizer to take along. These Easy Cheesy Mozzarella Bites are also the perfect savory snack for picnics or tailgating too (if they make it out of the house before being devoured).
As the weather gets warmer and and the days get longer, the best kinds of snacks are those that are refreshing and perky. This easy Lemon Cream Pie Dip Recipe is a terrific sweet snack for those warmer weather days. Made with only three simple ingredients, it is great as a poolside refreshment that won’t make you feel icky or like you’re going to pop out of your bathing suit.
This post is sponsored by Udi’s. These Easy Chocolate Cherry Coconut Dessert Nachos are quick and sneaky good. Taking a recipe and mixing it up to make a healthier version is certainly a great goal. That’s why when the nice folks from Udi’s contacted me about working with them and their Hackathon Challenge, I was all…
Of course a sandwich with leftover ham, mustard and mayonnaise always hits the spot, but why not try something new and different with the leftovers? Something as easy as a sandwich? What about kabobs? Grilled Pineapple Ham Kabobs to be exact. A perfect kabob marriage, if you ask me. Plus, they were super quick to prepare, and only required two ingredient: the leftover ham and pineapple chunks.
Honestly, I get bored with lunch. The same old, same old, well … it gets old. But it doesn’t have to. Enter the White Bean Cheddar Melt, a recipe I discovered at Bush’s Beans. Yep, white beans in a sandwich. I know. It sounds a little different, but different is good, right? Especially with this sandwich.
I’m a big fan of one pan recipes, especially ones that involve pasta of any kind. Although many pasta dishes can be heavy and filled with bloat-inducing ingredients. This one is an exception. This Skillet Orzo with Spinach, Beans and Lemon recipe discovered over at Bush’s Beans has just enough pasta without going overboard, combined with a healthier combination of ingredients.
The nice folks from Pillsbury invited me, along with several bloggers, to create some great new cookie recipes for the holidays. I took the opportunity to enlist our teenage daughter to help create these Marshmallow Creme Filled Chocolate Dipped Sandwich Cookies. They were easy and fun. Although they may look at little complicated, they’re quite simple. Really! The most difficult (if you can call it difficult) thing is planning extra time for chilling in between steps.
With the holiday gift-giving season just around the corner, I’m trying to begin making my list and hunting down some of the items to spread out the spending a bit. The last few years I’ve waited until the last minute. Hopefully this year won’t be the same. So, you can imagine how happy I was to hear from the nice folks at UncommonGoods.com about sponsoring a gift-giving idea post AND giveaway too.
