As I mentioned a week ago in that sweet Lemon Cream Pie Dip recipe that I shared last week, I’m happy to be working with the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association (NFRA) to create some easy, tasty snacks that are beyond cool. It’s been fun to stroll the dairy aisle thinking of all the possibilities located in one cool place. It’s not only the place to find eggs and milk, ya know. The refrigerated foods aisle is home to all the pieces and parts you’ll need to make so many dishes, both healthy and indulgent.
Today I’m sharing this super simple and quick recipe for Easy Cheesy Mozzarella Bites. If chips and dip as an afternoon snack are getting a little old for your crowd, these delicious and savory cheesy bites will be a nice change of pace. They are super quick to prepare with a dangerously good payoff—downright dangerous, I tell ya. In no time you’ll be everyone’s favorite snack chef on the block with just a few simple ingredients.
One of the great things about this snack recipe is that all the ingredients can be kept stocked in your fridge so you’re ready to go if a crowd of hungry teens happens to drop by, or if a last-minute occasion pops up and you’re in need of an appetizer to take along. These Easy Cheesy Mozzarella Bites are also the perfect savory snack for picnics or tailgating too (if they make it out of the house before being devoured).

- 1 can 8-count refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- favorite marinara or pizza sauce for dipping
- Preheat oven according to package instructions.
- Separate dough into triangles.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella in the middle of each crescent triangle.
- Roll up, fold ends to close up, pinch edges if needed to seal.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake according to package instructions.
- Serve with favorite marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
