Like this easy appetizer, Cream Cheese Pepper Jelly Recipe, for example. I remember playing board games at a friend’s home and her mom prepared a few snacks for us to enjoy.
As I said, it’s a simple appetizer but the combination of flavors topped on top of a crunchy cracker … oh my. It’s just good. This easy appetizer is great for any time of the year but it just so happens to be the appropriate festive colors for holiday entertaining, AND it’s a cinch to make.
Two ingredients, plus some crackers, plus just a few minutes and you’re set to go! For a special presentation during the Christmas holidays, slice one block of cream cheese on a diagonal and arrange it in a triangle (or tree) shape, then alternate pouring green and red hot pepper jelly.

Easy Cream Cheese Pepper Jelly Recipe
This easy and tasty appetizer is a cinch to make for any holiday party.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce cream cheese block
- red and/or green hot pepper jelly
- crackers
Instructions
- Place block of cream cheese on platter. (If tree shape is desired, cut block in half on a diagonal, then arrange in triangle shape.)
- Spread desired amount hot pepper jelly on top. Serve with crackers.
- Keep covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
This is very similar to one of my favorite holiday appetizers that we have every year. I love this version of it though. Must try!
