I remember that day of baking very well. It was long before I owned a stand-up mixer, so my friend Jennifer lugged her’s over for me to borrow and helped me whip up these decadent chocolatey treats. And yes, decadent they are. A chocolate cupcake batter with chocolate syrup mixed right in, topped with more chocolate goodness in ganache form makes for one crazy delicious chocolate dessert. And while they sound kind of fancy to make, they’re really not. Chocolate ganache is really quite simple. Three ingredients is all it takes to whip up a batch of smooth ganache. You’ll be making ganache and pouring it over everything once you learn how easy it is to make.
