This Pretzel M&M Cookies Recipe combines the sweet, salty and crunch all in portable cookie form.
I have a confession to make. Years ago when our children were in elementary school, for the dreaded afternoon pickup line (if you know the line I speak of, you know the line, ya know?) I would grab some pretzels, a handful of M&Ms, and my water bottle to help me make it through. It was my daily ritual for years. I know. It should have been carrots and celery sticks, but this is confession time. People don’t confess about carrot and celery sticks.
Anyway, pretzels and chocolate are weakness for me. The salty, sweet, crunchiness of it all is hard to resist. When M&Ms started making the Pretzel M&Ms I was sure they had someone watching me in that pick up line. Paranoid? Perhaps. But it does seem quite odd that all these years … then all of a sudden—BAM—Pretzel M&Ms?
Anyway, I decided to put my two favorite snack-mates in a cookie, Pretzel M&M Cookies. And it was a real good idea so I’m sure somewhere someone is making it for mass production right now. But you don’t have to wait for that. Make your own Pretzel M&M Cookies right in your own home, like today! Get right on it! I think you’ll be glad that you did.

These look perfect Amy! So fun!
These sound so good. I love salty and sweet together so I will have to try these!
I would never have thought of these… but I should have! What a great idea! Beautiful pictures, as always. 🙂
This is my kinda cookie!
Now I want pretzels and M&Ms for the car line!! Carrots and celery is a snack for chumps.
Oh I know the car line…and I know pretzels and chocolate. Well. Pretzels and chocolate (er, Nutella) are an absolute weakness of mine. And those pretzel M&Ms nail the combo in my opinion. Love these cookies Amy. I need to make a batch!
Looks delicious!
I made these with mini bags of plain M&Ms and Utz pretzels that were left over from Halloween. Opening all those little bags was the hardest part of the recipe! The grandchildren loved them. Thanks for this recipe!
When I made these the first time I thought 1 Tbsp of vanilla sounded like a lot. When I tasted them there was definitely a big vanilla flavor over everything else. They were ok and edible as is but I’d take that vanilla down a few notches next time and add another 1/4-1/3 cup pretzels for extra crunch.
Delicious. the cookie dough raw is amazing. I guess I would use extra pretzels next time but I’ll definitely make again.
