Here’s a little glad tiding from me to you…
Whether your halls have been decked,
the mistletoe hung,
bells are jingling everywhere,
the celebration has begun!
No need to rush around,
no hurry – don’t you fuss,
slow down, take it easy,
and enjoy this Merry Christmas!
(Yes, I know, it’s cheesy. I’ve never claimed to be a poet.)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Merry Christmas y’all!
Happy belated Hanukkah too!
.
I love Christmas because
I get to eat lots of cookies.
My shopping is done
I mean hey, I’m no rookie.
(I’m not a poet either)
Merry Christmas, girl!!
those ornaments are stunning and the photos are perfect! i’m feeling the Christmas love 🙂
Hehe. My favorite part of Christmas is my kids singing: With a whoop-de-do and a hickory dock, and don’t forget to hang up your sock. They love that line, and they sing it over and over and over until I’m forced to put the song on just so I can hear something other than that one line. 😉
Fun post! I’m course #2 from our Progressive Dinner and a yummy recipe!

Happy Weekend, Amy!
Love those ornament pics!
Those pictures are so beautiful… Merry Christmas to you too!!!
A lovely little poem. Hope your Christmas is filled with blessings, warmth and love.
I shared a cookie recipe that I’ve been baking for 22 years now on my last post. Pound Cake Cookies. Mmm.
This is such a great idea & a nice way for us to reflect on the magic of the holidays!
Totally haven’t even started my shopping – I want to cry…. I hope I get it done before Christmas passes by!
Hope you had a great one 🙂
I know it’s super cheesy but being snuggled up with the boys watching Bing Crosby in “White Christmas” drinking homemade hot cocoa is always my favorite tradition. It reminds me of Christmases past with my grandfather. I hope that you had a good weekend love!
My 3yr old son’s own version of Santa Claus is Comin to Town.
You better watch out
You better not hit
You better not pinch
I’m telling you NO
Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
Yummy yummy recipe I’m using tomorrow for a Girl’s Night In.
Mushroom Crescents
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
1/4tsp. salt
1 C. mushrooms (fresh or canned), chopped
Saute mushrooms and onoins in a small amout of oil until onions are done. Add cream cheese and salt to pan and stir until well-mixed. Lay out the four crescent rectangles and (allow mixture to cool slightly before spreading on dough) spread mixture on each. Roll up each rectangle and slice in 1 to 1 1/2″ pieces. Bake at 357* for about 12min. ENJOY!
