Boredom hardly describes what another meal with chicken induces around here. But I’m here to say this Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce Recipe I found over at Tasty Kitchen is here to wipe all the boredom away, and replace it with nothing but tasty goodness.
With a few exceptions in the spices category, all the ingredients are basic and easy to work with. Another one of the things I really like about this recipe (that will definitely keep it in our regular menu rotation) is that you can prep it ahead of time. So when dinner time rolls around there’s only about 15-20 minutes of cooking and you’re ready to eat.
Over at Tasty Kitchen you’ll find the step-by-step photo tutorial for this Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and a link for the full printable recipe.
If you try it (and you should), let me know what you think.
Happy cooking y’all!
Your photos are so very pretty. And now I know what I’m going to be craving this week!!
love, love, love peanut sauce – i make it and use it for a noodle salad – AWESOME!!!
I am drooling. I want this. I want this now.
I’m all for do-ahead prep. This looks yummy!
I like to add fresh coconut milk and lemon grass to the peanut mixture.
I’m pretty sure I need to make this. Like really make this. I know my hubby and inlaws would love it. I love peanut sauce. I just want to stick my finger in that bowl of it in the second picture. I wonder if it would be good with shrimp?
Finger licking good… YUM! Banish boredom for sure, but they’ve been taken over by hunger pangs! Your photographs are beautiful!
I have always wanted to try this recipe, but never did.
I just bookrmarked this page for further reading.

These look SO good, Amy! Jon and I went to Bali several years ago, and that was actually the last (and first) time I had chicken satay. I have to say, though – yours looks far better! I’ll have to try this soon – maybe set up a little date night with some of the flavors of that trip. Thanks for the inspiration!
Amy, Lord have mercy! Look how lovely this all looks!
