A new shampoo favorite.

You may remember a while back when I shared my fondness for Kerastase hair products. I still do use Kerastase once in a while, but I don’t know many who can keep up with the cost of using it daily. It’s pricey for me.
But alas! While on a pre-camp shopping spree with my daughter to Wal-Mart in June, I found this new line of hair products, EverStrong Sulfate-Free Fortify System, by L’oréal. L’oréal just so happens to be the same company who makes Kerastase. Hmmm … I have to wonder if the “bio-ceramide complex natural botanicals” maybe be some of the same stuff in the more expensive Kersatase?
Anyway, I grabbed the EverStrong Reconstruct Shampoo, Reconstruct Conditioner, and even the Deep Replenishing Masque. You’ll find they have a variety for different hair needs. I’ve been using it for almost two months now, and have been mighty pleased. Seems very similar to the Kerastase to me. Smells good too. And certainly easier on the pocket book.
So, if you’re in the market for a change in the hair care department check it out. I think EverStrong is pretty much available at most drug stores and discount department stores, or you can find it online too. If you try it out, let me know what you think.
And, wait! Before you go, do you have any new beauty products to share? I’m ready to take notes. Do share!
Hope you’re having a good hair day! xoxoxo
(By the way, these are just my personal opinions and observations. L’oréal has no idea who I am, or even what color my hair is.)
Totally going to try this out. I need something to fix my mop!
I love the L’Oreal EverStrong volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Sadly, my Walmart stopped carrying it so I have to order it online.
Keratase is wonderful – but alas, my days of being single and spending money as I wish are over! I have loved using Nature’s Gate for my daily hair care needs and at $7.29/bottle, I think it’s a pretty good deal – plus, NG uses natural ingredients. I get mine at a local health food store but can be found at Whole Foods, Target, and online.
For my curls, I LOVE Ouidad. Love, love, love!
I LOVE the scent of rosemary. I used Aveda’s rosemary + mint shampoo a few times, but it’s designed for oily hair & dried mine out, so I had to quit. I did find a knock-off at Wal Mart, but haven’t tried it yet. I find my scalp is irritated by something in most conditioners & many shampoos — not sure what, unfortunately. I did find a shampoo that doesn’t irritate, & that’s Hamamelis by Yves Rocher. I order it online, & I think it’s $7 or &8 a bottle. I LOVE the way it smells, too.
I will have to try this one!
I am a product junkie 🙂
I’m always on the prowl for good hair products! Thanks for the scoops love!
i color my hair so have been using Aveda products to help keep the color longer; might give this one a look!
I am so happy that you shared this with us….I have never seen it & will now be on the lookout for it 😉
oooo I’ve tried these, they were great but a little heavy on the conditioner for my fine hair (isn’t everything though??) I’ve finally found a good face wash and lotion thanks to Sephora…Murad Time Release Cleanser (gentle enough for my sensitive skin but keeps it looking clear) and Caudalie Vinosource Quenching Sorbet. An investment but they will last you months.
My favorite hair care products of late are 1 – Moroccan Oil…it just makes your hair so shiny and pretty.
2 and 3 – Bed Heads Urban anti-doet shampoo and conditioner – A-MAZ-ING! Even my husband was like…Woah! and uses the shampoo! The squeeze tubes are a cool electric blue. It totally revives your hair!
I will have to give the Loreal a try as well…always on the hunt for the new thing my hair responds to 🙂
I love these Shampoos especially on Color Treated hair.. My color last a million times longer. My favorite new beauty find is Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin face Cleaner.. it’s very unique how it comes and how you use it kinda of like a natural face scrub but gentle to use everyday.. My skin is clear and not dry and I have very sensitive skin.
I bought the Organix Hair shampoo and conditioner because I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo. I am so disapointed with it. It has made my hair very dry. I will have to give a try now.
I’ve never tried it, but I’m willing to
I love love love Kerastase – so I will definitely be checking out this line by Loreal! I wonder if they have a line of styling products as well. I’d love to find a cheaper alternative to my beloved Kerastase Oleo Relax. Target – here I come!
YES! I started using the EverStrong shampoo/conditioner back in May and I love them! The scent is wonderful, and they make my hair so nice and soft!
Good to know for those on a budget! 😉 If you have any other trends or reviews to share, we’d love to read them at http://www.taaz.com!
I just purchased this product a week ago and I must say I am very impressed. My naturally curly hair dried without turning it into a giant frizz bomb. The smell was relaxing and pleasent. I have tried everyhing including natural haircare, shampoo for curly hair, even ethnic shampoos and they all left my hair to dry or to oily. This is just right.
