Favorite Lip Balm

It’s dry in these parts during this time of the year, so I don’t go anywhere without a tube, or three, of lip balm.

I think of lip balm, and instantly “My lips hurt real bad” comes to mind. I know. I’m like five.

But they do hurt, and if I don’t have a good lip balm at the ready, it seems like that’s all I can think about until it’s remedied.

As far as lip balms go, I have a slew that I use. For real, I just counted 9 in my possession. I’m not obsessed. It’s just that for me, lip balm is a necessity, and for some reason when I’m out and about, I tend to misplace it, so I get another, and another, then another, and all of a sudden I have a wonderful stockpile of lip balm. I’d choose a good lip balm any day over a pair of fancy shoes. I kid you not.

Anyway, I try to keep them handy in all kinds of places: the car, my purse, my makeup case, my nightstand, next to the sink, my coat pocket, the desk drawer—anywhere that I may find myself feeling kind of parched. Even though I like all of them, and use all of them, today I want to share three of my current favorite ones with you.

3 Things : Lip Balm

Aquaphor Lip Repair: It’s not just for babies bottoms, Aquaphor makes a super lip repair in a mini squeeze tube. I like it.

Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm: Burt and his bees makes some good stuff, and this tinted lip balm is one of them. Get rid of dry lips and make em pretty at the same time. The “Rose” tint is nice.

Neutrogena’s Norwegian Formula Lip Moisturizer: I can’t tell you how many tubes of this I’ve been through. That Norwegian formula line from Neutrogena is tried and true, and the lip moisturizer is a keeper.

Please share your favorites too! I’m always in the market for another tube of great lip balm. You can’t have too many, ya know?
