I’m happy to be part of a special project launched by LoveFeast Table, called The Traveling Cookbook, where a cookbook is chosen to pass through the hands and kitchens of different bloggers who will cook a few recipes and scrapbook on those pages stories, notes or silly stuff. Once the cookbook returns to LoveFeast Table as a memoir of sorts, full of the voices from cooks all over the country, it will be auctioned off to benefit Feed My Starving Children.
The first cookbook to take the journey is The Pioneer Woman Cooks, by Ree Drummond.
Chris and Kristin from LoveFeast Table packaged it all up all sweet and special and sent it my way. Read more about what I cooked up with this special book at The Traveling Cookbook page.
Check it out!
Thank you Amy for being a part of this journey and for helping us to launch this project.
At the table,
Chris Ann & Kristin
Oh Golly! How fun is that! Can’t wait to see what you cooked.
I love this idea that Love Feast came up with 🙂 I can’t wait to see what you make.
this is SUCH a cute idea! i’d love to be part of something like this – just another amazing and fun way to unite cooks across the country, and for a great cause 🙂
LOVE this idea! I do wish it was a lesser known or newer cookbook…but maybe I feel that way since I already own this cookbook and am always on the hunt for fresh material. Anyway, I still look forward to seeing what you and others make from it.
That’s really neat! I love the idea of it!
Very cool idea, Amy!! Headed over now!!
