It’s December, the bells are jingling, stockings are being hung, and the aroma of sweet baked treats is wafting through many a home. I always have great intentions of baking special homemade goodies for all of my friends and family during the holidays. But more often than not, time runs out, and I find my good intentions glaring at me in the face come January in the form of multiple bags of chocolate chips, nuts and other extras for cookies and cakes.
So here’s an option for anyone out there with lots of good intentions but very little time, order cookies from Tate’s Bake Shop.
Tate’s Bake Shop contacted me about trying out their cookies. Try some cookies? Why sure!
And they’re some mighty fine cookies too. They’re sneaky good.
They’re a crispy, crunchy, buttery cookie that at first bite, you’re like, “Yeah, so what? It’s a cookie. And it’s a good cookie.”
Then 7 cookies later…
Sneaky good they are. Tate’s Bake Shop also has a new cookbook out packed full with some yummy looking cookie recipes.
Speaking of trying things…you get a chance to try out these yummy cookies too. Tate’s Bake Shop is giving away a gift pack of cookies and one of their cookbooks to one winner. Cool, huh?
To be entered for a chance to win, just leave a comment answering this question…
How many cookies have you eaten in one sitting (or standing)?
Be honest now.
AND for an extra entry, become a friend of Tate’s Bake Shop on facebook, and leave another comment here saying you did so.
That makes two (2) chances to be entered to win some darn good cookies.
Giveaway begins today, Thursday, December 2, 2010, and ends Monday, December 6, 2010 at Midnight PST. Winner will be announced sometime Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
But wait! That’s not all. Winner or not, Tate’s Bake Shop is offering a 15% discount on any purchases made at tatesbakeshop.com from now until December 31, 2010. Just enter the discount code “cookie” to receive the discount. That’s some tasty shopping!
I’ve all of a sudden got a hankerin’ for a cookie…
Check ya later!
(Again, Tate’s Bake Shop so graciously sent me some of their yummy cookies to try and a handy dandy cookbook too.)
I am a fan of Tates on facebook
After seeing the facebook page of tates I can tell you I love their choc chip cookie because I love a thin crispy cookie. I have in the past eaten about half a bag in one sitting!
I just love cookies with milk and coffee, I’ve eaten a maximum of 6 but can eat more when my sweet and tender is not around :):)
Well, there’s always the first one that doesn’t count, then the second one that does count, then the third one because “what the heck, I’ve already had one”…or is it two.
As many as I can.
Oh Goodness! Maybe 6?
I like Tate’s on facebook!
I’ve probably eaten 3 really fat cookies in one setting…but they were so worth it 🙂
I actually love their cookies! They are thin and crisp and for some reason made like that-I don’t feel as guilty gobbling them down!
The other night I actually ate a whole packet of Tate’s by myself…I’d like to say it was a record, but it might not be…
I’m pretty sure I can eat half a dozen if they are homemade. 🙂
I won’t lie. I’ve eaten an entire bag of White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies from Tate’s Bake Shop by myself. In less than an hour. It was a rough day. 😉
And now, I like Taste’s on Facebook.
I can remember eating bites out of 20 or so after a cookie swap, but only ate the whole cookie for the goods ones, so maybe 15 bites plus 5 whole cookies =)

At least a dozen!! I can’t stop eating peanut butter cookies right out of the oven! Sad but true!
Hehehe now there’s a question I don’t want to answer. I’ve eaten 2 packfuls!
Okay now you have me hankerin’ for cookies. Great idea because I always run out of time making homemade goodies.
I’m really ashamed to admit this…I’ve eaten a whole bag of nutter butter sandwich cookies in an afternoon at work. I’m still wearing them on my hips as a shameful reminder.
Oh yeah, I’m a fan on facebook.
