Pretty in Pink Party Marshmallows are an easy and fun treat to add to any party.
These pink-themed sweet treats were originally posted a couple of years ago in honor of Lucy, Kristan from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen little girl. A bunch of her friends threw an online virtual baby shower for Miss Lucy, and these Pretty in Pink Marshmallows were my contribution.
While these Pretty in Pink Party Marshmallows are perfect for a baby or bridal shower these are also fun for class parties or any other special celebration for that matter. They can be customized with your choice of colors and adornments, and be made in no time. I made a tray from start to finish in about an hour.
The Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows inspired these perfectly pretty in pink marshmallows. Such a cute way to add a little pizzazz to a plain marshmallows! You can get creative with decorating, or keep them simple with a dash of sprinkles. A sweet little royal icing “L” for Lucy was piped on a few, but it could easily be any initial or hearts or smiley faces … what have you. Just have fun with them!
These decorated marshmallows are easy to make too. With just a little melting, dipping, sprinkling, you’re done! These cute marshmallows are a simple twist on the regular petits fours, and much less expensive. They’re basic enough for the kids to take part in decorating them too! A marshmallow decorating party would be fine idea for a cold winter’s day when the kids can’t get outside to play. Maybe Lucy will decorate some of these with her mama and big brother one day. I hope so. I bet her’s will be all sparkly just like her mama.

I totally agree with you! I always get a kick out of Kristan’s posts. Way to take the humble little marshmallow and make it into something so sophisticated!
Too cute and so creative! I can see this at the little kid school parties.
I agree with Amy’s comment. The marshmallows and your photography are both wonderful. I don’t know what it is about your site but it always brings me a sense of calm and drive at the same time. I think it’ the colors, they are soothing yet you always leave me feeling driven to try and do what you’ve done. Thanks for calmly driving me. lol
I love making marshmallows but dipping them in chocolate takes them to a new level! I imagine the chocolate coating locks in the freshness too. I’ll definitely try making these. Thanks for sharing!
