This is what I like to do with free time… junkin’… antiquing… whatever you want to call it. And I’m very blessed with a husband who will happily oblige my whims.
These are the kind of places that draw me in. Road side establishments filled with all types of curiosities.
Where else would you find one of these?
Because we all need a coconut monkey named “Kika.”
And these are cool. I’ve been looking for something to make a trellis out of – these might work.
And you know we all secretly desire one of these… unfortunately it’s not velvet or I would’ve snagged it.
But that monkey… he’s still there calling my name. Hang on Kika, I may be back.
I hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend full of curious treasures!
Cool place with a wide range of “Oh,look at that”s. Very eclectic. Bet ya’ll had fun. Amy, how’d you like their music?
Safe travel for everyone over the holiday.
Thats what I did yesterday! I snagged a very cool antique watch!
Hubby LOVES doing that…we haven’t been in awhile, though…
Found your blog through my good friend Kristen over at Dine & Dish, and I’m so happy I did. I love antiquing, junking, flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores and vintage shops, so I’m curious to hear about your adventures & see some of your finds. We recently returned from a antiquing trip to Sainte Genevieve, MO and now I’m kicking myself—there are so many things I should have bought and didn’t…so I’m now planning a second trip back. Stop by and say hi (www.sheshavingablog.com and/or http://www.inncuisine.com), would love to hear from you!
Also, ignore my grammatical faux pas (a=an). I’ve got bread baking in the oven and timer started going off (I’m a little distracted) 🙂
Well I’ll be…. there is another person that’s been there. I really liked it there, but everything I liked was way to big for me to bring home. I would have snagged up one of the painted windows/ doors from Charleston.
Thanks for stopping by, and I will continue to visit you. Lovely blog you have here!
You are an AMAZING photgrapher…almost makes me feel like I WAS THERE!!!
