A friend of mine, Bridget from Bake at 350, tweeted this morning, “Is there anyone else who could use about another month between now and Christmas?” Yes, please. Perhaps two months would be even more better. But alas, no can do. We move forward.
To help with last minutes decorations, crafts with the kids, and a few other ideas, I’ve collected some links to older posts for some Christmas Ideas, as well as additional links to some of my friend’s creations. Be sure to check them out at the end of the post. Really good stuff there.
This is one of my favorites, a simple and fun way to create a family heirloom: The Family Tablecloth
If you have a special collection of ornaments, here’s an easy way to display them, while adding a feature for a sideboard, or accent table: Vintage Ornaments

I’d love to hear them.
I love love love the tablecloth idea!
I love that tablecloth, too, Amy! And the ornaments…and of course, the cookie painting! 🙂 Next year, I’m starting earlier. Should we make a pact? 😉
I have loved this tablecloth idea since you first posted it, Amy. So very special! I think I just might have to start one of my very own.
Love these ideas. I love wreath making myself… I’m rather obsessed with it. I should probably be making homemade ornaments since my selection looks small with this big tree I went with this year!
The tablecloth+your kiddos decorating=one smiling girl
We make many homemade gifts together as a family, but my favorite tradition is making and decorating gingerbread houses with my kiddos!
I love all these ideas! We do BBQ rubs in jars and here is the really old post…lol! http://www.jerseygirlcooks.com/2008/04/barbecue-rub-101.html
I vaguely remember ornaments like those on my grandparents’ Christmas tree, only they were red and all Santas. So many Christmas things I’d love to share. Not enough time to get them done and blog about them. I dont’ know how you ladies do it!
There are so many great gift ideas here Amy. Sentimental keepsakes too 🙂
Here is a post I ran earlier this week 15 Amazing Holiday Gifts for $15 or Under

I kind of totally want to do that tablecloth – of course we need a good table too so I’d hate to do it this year and get a different table next year!
Your tablecloth is always my favorite, Amy!
Have a great week!!
Fun ideas! Happy holidays!
Love these ideas…especially the tablecloth one! Yes, these days do feel harried at times, but things like this really make it seem worth it all. Thanks for sharing!
