Thank you for visiting. This series has ended.
Today begins the linkup for the first Share the Shot, and blue is the theme. I don’t know about you but “blue” was harder than I expected. It certainly made me look and think a little more about what I was composing.
At the very end of this post is the linkup for you to share your html link for to your results from this “blue” assignment. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you made. I’ll be linking mine to a “blue” flickr set I set up in the mix as well. This week I created a set of photos, but some weeks it may just be a single photot. The project helped me to be intentional about keeping my eyes open for “blue” opportunities. I hope you enjoyed it too.
This linkup will be left open until next week’s new linkup begins, so if you don’t have your “blue” pictures ready you have until then.
Speaking of next week…
The second assignment is…
yellow
Create your interpretation, usage, or yellow inspirations.
Yep, yellow. My mind is already thinking of the possibilities. Remember to have fun with it. And NO STRESS ALLOWED.
Again, there will be a new, separate post with a new linkup for the yellow theme next Tuesday, February 28, 2012. The linkup below is for the “blue” assignment and will be live until the new yellow linkup begins.
Thanks for sharing! If you have any questions about how Share the Shot works the details are below, but if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to leave a question in the comments below.
Here’s how Share the Shot will work:
- Each Tuesday I’ll post a new photo theme. Then you’ll be given a week to make photos, and the following Tuesday, a week later, anyone who wants to participate, from the beginner to the experienced, can link to their photo(s). It can be one single photo, a series of photos, or photo album.
- You don’t have to have a website to participate. You can link from another html, maybe a site where you store your photos, like Flickr. Really, any way you can share an html link (as long as it’s proper for all audiences) should work.
- You don’t have to be a professional with a fancy camera either. I’m hoping some younger, brand spanking new photographers may join in too. I know I’ll be encouraging my son and daughter to participate. And I’m looking forward to seeing some phone photography too, or whatever you call that.
- If you can’t participate each week, that’s fine too. Join in when you can. It’s not intended to be a stressor, but a fun activity to help get you motivated to make new pictures.
No special instructions. No special requirements. Just Share the Shot.
(Again, those images appropriate for all audiences.)
