The fact that November is a few days away has me reeling a tad. How can it be? It seems like I just packed up the Christmas decorations from last year. But no time to fret. Time to get ready for jingle bells and roasting chestnuts on an open fire.
Last holiday season was a little hit and miss for me. Quite random indeed. Among other things, I flopped with sending out Christmas cards. But this year, things are gonna be different. For starters I’m making a smaller list, streamline expectations altogether. But I am sending out Christmas cards.
And, get this, they’re already done. It’s just short of a Christmas miracle y’all!
When I was contacted by Cardstore.com to see if I’d like to try out their online greeting cards, I jumped at the chance to check Christmas cards off my list before the holiday madness kicked in. Cardstore.com has a great selection of greeting cards for all occasions. I quickly zoned in on the photo Christmas cards and started the simple ordering process. It was a breeze.
Well, almost. Taking a picture of my kids ranked up there with cleaning the grout in my shower. But they survived. And so did I. Kinda. Sorta.
When the package arrived a few days later, I let out a sigh of relief. Christmas cards? Check.
And I think they turned out pretty doggone cute.
And look what was in the cute little box…
Gift tags. Cool.
They’ll certainly come in handy.
Both sets of cards were printed on recycled paper with a matte finish. That’s another thing I like about Cardstore.com. Not only are their products stylish and hip, but they’re eco-concious too. Plus the turnaround time was quick.
And guess what? You get the chance to check something off your holiday list too. Cardstore.com has generously offered a $50 shopping code for use on their site for one (1) winner. Yep, a giveaway.
All you have to do is visit Cardstore.com and leave a comment telling me your favorite design. Or, if you’re in a hurry, tell me your favorite holiday tune.
The giveaway begins today, October 30, 2010 and ends Thursday, November 4, 2010, Midnight PST. I’ll announce the winner sometime on Friday, November 5, 2010.
Hugs to you! And please let me be the first to say… Merry Christmas! Feliz Navidad! Happy Hanukkah!
(Cardstore.com supplied me with a $50 code for shopping on their site and is sponsoring this giveaway with another $50 code for their site as well. Cool, huh?)
I like the Red Folk Tree design, but a few others caught my eye.
The Green Folk Tree design is cute! They have a lot of cute designs!!
I’m loving the “Star Rays Tree.” But there are a lot of really attractive designs there–your photo card turned out great! Love the idea of the gift tags, as well.
Hope and Hank look very happy to be on the cards and tags. Good idea. Looking forward to the holidays with the family.
very tough to choose but the teal modern flower is one of my favorites! Love the gift tags!!!
I have no idea which one to choose! There are so many options! Love your gift tags!
lime peace and modern garland are pretty cute but I didn’t have time to look through them all. I like to pick from pages back so all my friends don’t have the same ones.
However I, like you, already have my christmas card in hand, they actually arrived on October 28th and I about did the biggest happy dance ever. I just had my stuff aligned perfectly this year. For some reason it all came together early.
I’d still love to get some of those awesome gift tags or maybe some business cards from these guys. I hadn’t every heard of cardstore.com before this post and I really like their stuff. Thanks for the giveaway!
I like the Red White Flying Santa.
I have never once sent out Christmas cards, though I vow to every year when I get everyone else’s in the mail. (Apparently that’s one vow I don’t take very seriously—such a slacker I am) I really like the Three Square Red Love card.
PS: Your kids are soo stinkin’ cute!!
I like the Holly Sprig cards because they look like they match my Mikasa Red Berries dishes, which I adore!
I like Jingle Bells. It’s Jingle Bells all the way! I like the part where I dash through the snow to Grandma’s house.
Like that Fruitcake card. Two of my brother in laws mail a fruit cake back and forth. Jim sends Lyle a fruit cake and then Lyle put it in the freezer and mails it back to Jim next Christmas. That card made me think of them!
oh man. I was just over at snapfish today debating… I think I narrowed it down to about 20 cards So to pick, um… I like the falling show flake custom gift tags. They are all just so sweet. Custom gift tags, for all my custom made gifts this year would be the shiz.
These are all so great, its hard to make a choice! I’ve been wavering on ordering from them but I’m sure now I will! Love em all…and yes “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!”
Silent night!
I am going to go order those gift tags, what a great idea! But I wanted to leave a comment first..I love the holiday song..”Mary, Did you know?”
by kenny rogers and wynonna judd…beautiful and haunting.
We typically send out Thanksgiving cards. Folks tell us they enjoy receiving the cards before the rush of December, and I enjoy not having to think about cards in December! My cardstore.com Thanksgiving card is their “Berries and Branches” design.
I love the Bubble Ribbon Holiday card. I sure hope I get to place an order on this site!!!! The personalized gift tags are magnificent!
I love all the designs, and am always looking for a new website with cute designs for our yearly Christmas card…thanks! Also, my very favorite Christmas song is “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, but only when sung by Judy Garland.
Wow. I love them all. So fun. the Red Green Snowflake card caught my eye!
