Enjoying Outdoors with Stanley Brand

I don’t know about y’all, but we’re an outdoorsy people. And after the past year, well, we’ve been spending more time outside than ever. But it’s easy to spend time outdoors in beautiful Western North Carolina! There are mountains and waterfalls and lovely little hamlets. I’ve lost count of the number of times in the past year that a hike or a walk with the dogs, or even just a guitar jam out in the fresh air, has saved one of us from certain insanity. Of course, gathering around a campfire with my favorite people has been a nice way to end the day. On another note, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about sustainability over the past year – what is going to last and what are the little things that we really want to make count. It’s tedious, frustrating, wasteful, and I can’t be the only one that’s grown to really luxuriate in the simple pleasures of the day.
