An easy homemade version of your favorite frozen blended coffee beverage.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoons sugar*
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 2 cups ice (or more as needed)

Instructions

  1. Add coffee, sugar, cocoa powder and half and half to the pitcher of a blender. Blend until combined.**
  2. Coffee mixture should be cool. If not add a few cubes of ice; blend to cool down. Once cool, add remaining ice and blend until smooth.

Notes

*Adjust sweetness to preference. **Coffee mixture can be made ahead, covered and chilled in refrigerator until ready to blend with ice.
