A few Watermelon Coconut Slushie Recipe notes:

  • To partially prepare ahead, blend together watermelon, coconut water and sugar and keep refrigerated until ready to add ice and blend for a frozen version.
  • If a blender isn’t handy, use a fork to mash up the watermelon, then just shake or stir all ingredients together for a version on the rocks.
  • When shopping for coconut water, we look for pure coconut water without anything added—just coconut water.
  • Although a good ripe watermelon is sweet enough on it’s own, if extra sweetness is desired add a little granulated sugar to preferred sweetness, or sweeten with honey that has been whisked together with a bit of warm water.
