3 Things : Weekend Getaway Favorites

Weekend Getaway Favorites

Sometimes you just have to get away, and there’s not better time to escape for a little while than the weekend. We all need it. It surely helps refresh and renew to have a change of scenery even if for a short time. Whether you enjoy hiking with friends, antiquing and window shopping, spa treatments, or just finding a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle to be still make sure to carve out that time for yourself.

So grab your keys and your comfiest shoes and take off!

But before you do, I wanted to share a three of our favorite things that are perfect to take along for a weekend getaway:

Timex Weekender Slip-Thru Nylon Strap Watch: This is my favorite new watch. I like that it’s classic and casual. And they are so versatile because the bands are interchangeable. So much fun! They remind me of the preppy ribbon-band watches from the 80s.

ENO Eagles Nest Outfitters Hammock: Our kids have enjoyed these portable hammocks for a few years now. They take them everywhere we go. Many of their friends have them too, and they have been known to build hammock villages when they all get together by hanging them in clusters sometimes four and five high! Those crazy kids.

Camelbak Insulated Bottle: These water bottles are a favorite to take along anywhere, as well as being such a great water bottle for packing for school, hiking, and travel. They’re BHA free, leak proof, and available in an array of colors too! So fun, and easy to wash in the dishwasher.

Each makes a great gift idea too. With graduations, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day coming up, gift ideas are always a good thing.

Do share any gift ideas you may have too! I’m ready to take notes.

Happy getaway-ing!
