As far as shopping goes, I’m pretty set in my ways. I like what I like, and tend to go back for more of the same. So when I find things that work for me, I wanna go get more and stock up. Buy 50 kazillion of the same thing so I will never have to do without.

Perfectly rational.

I think so.

Okay, I don’t really do that. I mean, I’ve thought about it. And I suppose I’ve kinda done that if you count the times I’ve found the perfect t-shirt and decided I needed one in every color. And I do have this thing with bowls. I can’t seem to have enough bowls. It’s really weird.

Anyway, I think the thought to hoard does cross my mind when I discover a fantastic product, like the three that I’m getting ready to share with you. I’m seriously considering purchasing backups, because all my other favorites seem to fade away when a replacement is needed.

The first favorite thing I’d like to share are these flip flops from Rainbow. I’ve tried on tons of flip flops looking for that comfy shoe. With wide feet it’s not the easiest thing to find. I dropped into Shoe Carnival a couple of weeks back on the hunt for some black flip flops. Soon after walking through the door they announced that the Rainbows were marked down. I checked out the rack and discovered these. A slight wedge, wide enough for me and comfy!

I honestly may go back and grab another pair for next year.

And maybe another pair for the following year…

Moving right along…

These pants from J.Jill are the best. They inspired song. They did.

I hate to use the word comfy again, but they are. They’re easily dressed up or down. Take a casual approach with the Rainbow flip flops above and a nice t-shirt. Or spiff it up with some girly girl sandals with a nice top. I like the flowy wide leg capris, but they come in straight leg too. They’re like yoga pants I’m allowed to wear out in public. Check em out. J.Jill is good about running sales and coupons, so be on the lookout for those too.

The last item on my “Favorites” list right now is this SoftBottle water bottle from Platypus. I received one while at the Rockher Party at the Blogher Food Conference back in May. And as soon as I got home my 12 year old son claimed it as his own. It’s light and stores flat when not in use.

I’m thinking about purchasing a few more to take on our vacation. We usually get jugs of water and refill water bottles while we travel, but these would be handy to have and could pack flat too. Plus they are BPA free. Check out their variety of colors.

Like always, thanks for stopping by. It’s fun to share what I feel are good purchases, worth the money.

Do you have any good finds? Please don’t hesitate to share.

I was not compensated in any way for this post. Other than the free water bottle, I personally purchased items.
